For the 360 or PC?

PC for CoD4 if I can find a server good enough.   Or if there is a real want we can do a CoD4 360 if there are more 360 people than pc. I will make a more firm decision next month

Ill be there for sure, to work and play... lol...

here is what here are 100% sure on that will be played

Halo 3 FFA (we might do a 4v4 I just need to look at the venue size first)
SSBB  (2v2 or 1v1 help here? which is more popular)
GOW2

Those right now are the 100% for sure games.  Rules, fee's and prizes are being worked out.  But overall you can pretty well bank on the standard rules everyone is used too.

I am going to say that the #1 enforced rule will be

No Hardware, No play.

People who play pay good money for there setups.  Most have there favorite controller headsets etc.  And someone who does not bring there own hardware should not be allowed to play on some random persons hardware..   Now exceptions will be made if person "A" Brings hardware and are good friends with Person "B" and Person "A" allows it and it dont conflict with the time Person "A" plays.

We will have the room set up and laid out with position numbers. Everyone will be assigned a position depending on the game(s) they are playing.  Brackets will be set up with the players Alias and position number.  Food Concessions will also be on hand as well I just confirmed that today. (had to find me some people to work it) had some of my friends wives pitch in to help out with it.  We should have Chips, Candy, Soda Pop, and cookies and what ever else the girls drum up.

The software Ive wrote lays out the bracket, with estimated start times. we will have a PA system and will announce game times for players 5 mins before.  Hopefully we will have a Large LCD with the bracket displayed on it.

I most earnestly prefer SSBB singles.  If enough setups make it, maybe you could have the doubles afterward?

I could get a wii/brawl there, and, with luck, a tv to go with it - if i'm able to make it at all (dates permitting)

Looks like I got the Venue picked hold approx 300 people Probably overkill but better to have more than not enough right?

So far we are looking at

Mustang Community Center  SW59th and Mustang Road
2pm  Till we are done
January 17th  Weather Permitting.

I will move this thread to the tournament thread once I confirm payment on the venue, and have a talk with Darkdisk and we get our ducks in a row on what games we will be doing.  And as far as all the eye candy for the tournament, I will know around the 7th of November weather or not we will be able to acquire the LCD's
