So are headphones allowed or not ? Still not answered?

Okay well,

Why would one need headphones?

Also, how much of a hassle is it to set up and take down the headphones between matches?

Do the headphones give an advantage over someone that doesn't have them? And if no, then why use them?

they kinda do if the person has a nice enough headset like turtle beaches because you can hear enemy footsteps and stuff alot better and some teams really do use alot of communication and dont want the other team to heat them..

My main concern is that people feel it is a fair situation. If the tournament was only made up of people who frequent this forum then I would be completely open to it. However, we have people who know nothing about the tournament circuit mixed with tournament players. It is a bit of a balancing game at that point.

I don't want to annoy the "hardcore" but I don't want to alienate the "casuals" who are doing it for fun.

Great point but those "casuals" wont come to all of your tournaments and majority of the time all talk and no shows. The "hardcore" guys are the repeats who will only continue to beg you for what they want until they stop showing up at all. Trust me.

I had to change a few things.

The HDD's we had the customer classes on are not working.

So now it is set to just the basic presets the game comes with.

Sorry about that.

And we're done!

It was long and fun! I didn't get a lot of pictures because really, there wasn't much to take pictures of.

It was a learning experience. I now know 5 minutes is a good match time! :P Thanks to everyone for Coming out and putting up with out amateurish ways.

I'll be posting a little bit of a write up on our website by Monday.

Congrats to the winners!

1st: Ransom - Free Copy of Black Ops and $50.
2nd: Ryan - Free Copy of Black Ops.
3rd: Emanuel - $20.

It went well. A little longer than we expected but was fun!

All but 3 people there knew about Okgamers. We had some flyers and I mentioned it a few times for sure.

Hey Micah - it was good meeting you!

That's awesome!!

And great on the only 3 people too - I guess CoD players have to look harder for events, so maybe they've used the internet more than Halo players?  lol.  Eitherway, we really appreciate you taking the time!!!
