March Twistercon Event

March 16, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - March 17, 2018 @ 12:00 am

This Month’s event will be held at Twistercon in Midwest City at the Reed Center next to the Sheraton Hotel. We will be playing board games throughout the convention and have our event with some prize giveaways on Saturday night starting around 4 pm.

This convention is a great way to play those longer games that never see the game table or new games that have been sitting awhile on the shelf still in shrinkwrap. We will have over 100 games to choose from to play, but feel free to bring your own to play.

We have always had an open mindset to which games are played, but if you have one that you would like to demo and teach, let us know and we can have a sign up sheet at the registration table for those interested.

We are working with one of the GMs currently who will be running two versions of Axis and Allies. The first will be the WWI version and will run during the fourth session on Saturday starting at 2 pm, and the second will be the WWII version and will run during the last session on Saturday starting at 7:30 pm. If you are interested in playing one of these games, make sure you sign up at the registration table.

Because we will be at a non-OKTGC event, there will be an entry fee at the door. The links to the main and events page of the convention are listed below and will have more specifics on the convention itself. The entry fee per night is $12 or $20 if you pay for both days. This gives you access to all events at the convention, so feel free to engage in the other demos if it tickles your fancy.
