The only spectator allowed will be the account spectating for the official TnT stream.

DETERMINING A WINNER

Assault Maps – Hanamura, Temple of Anubis, Volskaya Industries

In Assault (aka Capture) maps, two teams battle over control of the map, one team on offense, the other on defense. The attackers’ goal is to capture critical objectives, while the defenders must maintain control over them until time runs out.

On these maps, the attacking team will receive one point for a “victory” (capturing both control points). The defending team will receive one point for a “victory” (preventing the attacking team from capturing both points). The first team to 2 points wins the match. If the score is 1-1 after two games, the match should be restarted on the same map. Whether a team is attack or defense is determined randomly by the client for all matches.

Control Maps – Ilios, Lijiang Tower, Nepal

On Control maps, two teams fight over a series of objective areas in a best-of-three format. When a team is in control of the round’s objective area, they will make progress toward capturing it, and whichever team gets to 100% first wins the round. Each round (up to 3 total) will feature a new objective area located in a different part of the map.

On these maps, the win conditions are straightforward. The team awarded a “victory” at the end of the best-of-three capture points on a single map will be the winner. Points are tracked within the client.

Escort Maps – Dorado, Route 66, Watchpoint: Gibraltar

On the Escort (aka Payload) map, the attacking team’s objective is to move the payload to a delivery point, while the defenders must halt the attackers’ progress until time runs out.

On these maps, the attacking team will receive one point for a “victory” (delivery the payload). The defending team will receive one point for a “victory” (preventing the attacking team from delivering the payload). The first team to 2 points wins the match. If the score is 1-1 after two games, the match should be restarted on the same map. Whether a team is attack or defense is determined randomly by the client for all matches.

Hybrid Maps – Hollywood, King’s Row, Numbani

Hybrid maps are combinations between Assault and Escort maps. In them, the attacking team must capture a point, then push a payload to its delivery point. The defending team must halt their progress until time runs out.

On these maps, the attacking team will receive one point for a “victory” (delivering the payload). The defending team will receive one point for a “victory” (preventing the attacking team from delivering the payload). The first team to 2 points wins the match. If the score is 1-1 after two games, the match should be restarted on the same map. Whether a team is attack or defense is determined randomly by the client for all matches.

THE FINE PRINT
