XBOX 360 System Update

Looks like a New System update came out today. I Cant find much about it other than it provides the backbone for this falls dashboard update.  Anyone notice any differences?  Or glitches?

I havent noticed any major diffrences, however navigating throgh the dash board, especially the friends list area seems to be a little bit less sluggish. Not much, but I guess every little bit helps.

Yea I signed on this morning and thought that after the update my dashboard was going to completely change, then I remembered thats not until the fall. I havent noticed any differences at all really.

I looked up info about it yesterday because I hate getting updates that I don't know what they do and it was for maintenance purposes.

the only info I can see that it does is just prepare the xbox for the major fall release. Other than that i dont see any type of change long or anything. Ive email XBOX tech support / and the PR department asking for the information (using my website as a premise to get more accurate infor)

the new update this fall i think looks stupid, and the whole create your person is quite a big rip-off of the wii lol, but the games and movies list thing looks cool tho

I think the entire fall update thing is gay. It looks way to stupid. and whats going to happen to my gamer pics and themes once these dumb new avatar things come out?

yeah thats a good question because i got like 40 or 50 themes and like 70+ gamer pics lol  and i have no clue why, i wonder if you will be able to delete them, use them, or not even be able to access so they just take up space, now that would be annoying

Gamer Pics will Remain, and You can choose to keep the legacy desktop if you choose.  Most Themes should work on the new desktop system.  Also for the gamer pics you are supposed to be able to customize your Avatar Clothing with your gaming pics if you choose to. But they have said you do not have to use the new dashboard if you do not want too you can read more about it if you like in my article on my site

And as far as taking up space goes, you can always delete them from the HDD under the memory management area.
