I've known about this for a little while. You can even play it when the video isn't paused, though it's a bit more distracting that way.

I figured as much, especially hearing jokes and stuff how the first 25-30 hours of the game is tutorials and all that. Which, again, I don't mind so much. The game had been pretty fun so far. However, I feel like grinding/farming gil. And I'm at the first suitable spot for that, or so I think.
I just need to get passed there, I'm just a bit to lazy to gil farm, and have been for 2, 3 months.

nope for a good 25 hours you don't get a say in where you are or what you do

I'm not even at the part where I can choose what I do. Story related stuff and all that. Which, I really don't mind. It's just a pain not having the funds to make sure everyone in your party is up to date. I mean, seriously. I've mainly focused on powering up Lightning and Fang's weapons. Everyone else I don't quite care about enough to bother. Until I found the awesome place for gil farming, which is on some ship somewhere?
I think. I haven't played in two or three months, so I can't exactly remember where I am.

100 hours in to FFXIII, nothing to do but grind till I can kill the next boss

I'm not that far in, but I'm supposed to be gil farming right now because I finally found a place I thought decent enough to do it, but haven't actually gotten around to it for about two, three months?
So I guess I'm grinding, too.

It's in the second disc, as well, considering I'm on the 360 version. You'd figure I'd have found a place to do it before then...

I actually haven't played Final Fantasy XIII in a while. I got up to a point where I was going to farm gil, but I haven't done it yet.
And my friend got Divinity II and Soul Calibur 4, so we've been playing those.

Sorry for bumping this, and double posting it seems, however, I would like to post a pretty great run I had of BB Evolution at my friend's house.
I don't have a screenshot or a picture because of that, however I do know the stats, except the exact number of Perfects. You'll see why.

Perfects: 2000+ (I want to say somewhere in the 2300 area.)
Great/Good: 140
Average: 2

I messed up once at the beginning, and then once at the end because I started shaking. It's not the first time I've gotten a run this great, but it's been a LONG time, and doing great at this song always gets me. I don't think I've had one quite this good, though, simply because of the PA ratio.

Focus on the first three. Make sure after you beat each one you do all the side quests so you can take the good stuff with you to the next game. This is going to take you a bit and is going to let you have more time to get the fourth game.

I know about this already, but thanks. Watching Let's Plays is fun, and is what sparked me to search for them anyway because I'd almost forgotten about it.

While doing a flyer run for TnT and May 8th, I asked at the 71st Game Exchange what they had -

Outbreak for 19,99, Infection for 14, and GU Rebirth for 18, but didn't have the original case.

There is also a NEW Game Exchange on 21st and Sheridan, but they had closed by the time I was doing my runs.

I'd call around man, seems like they are out there, definitely at GE yesterday, the one off 71st across from the mall.

Thanks. I'll definitely do that, especially when I actually get the money I need to buy the games, which I should get shortly.
I figured it'd be best to ask here first, since I don't frequent game shops all that often in the first place.

The .hack series is the first iteration.

the .hack series, the originals, are considered rare in general. They're like Xenogears popular and takes time and/or money to get.  So it's gonna cost you unless you find someone stupid to sell em.

I figured as much. The first three games, as long as I'm not buying them new, aren't going to take a huge chunk out of my pocket, as far as I can tell so far. The last game, however, will, even if I do buy it used.

I got the first 3 via different Game Stops. They were all used but not damaged, a few scratches here and there but played perfectly. I have yet to find Quarantine, that was the hardest one for me to find~

Quarantine seems to be the rarest one. Especially considering I can buy it off Amazon, but it's $42 for a used game, and around $70 for a new one.

Good luck on that. Me and roommate bought them while series was still active.

If I can't find all of them for at least a relatively cheap price, I'll just end up buying the ones I can off of Amazon, and hoping I get the money of Quarantine.
