2 month notice for people to really get prepared.I like this idea only because it's hard for me to get off of work without some advance notice. On the other hand, I'd like to have as many tournaments as possible, and don't think we should skip a chance to have one just because we don't have a full 2-month notice.
Have a 2 MAN SHOWMANSHIP - You and your buddy get down the base and lead part, and SHOW OFF!This is an excellent idea... but why not consider a 2-man skills tournament as well? I think that could be a lot of fun. People would have to sign up as teams, and anyone who's interested but doesn't have a partner could use this site to find someone who also needs a teammate. The "cooperative" mode in the game is really fun, we should definitely incorporate it into our tournaments if possible. I think this would keep the tournaments from getting stale if we change it up a little occasionally. Would anyone be interested in something like this??
[really like this idea...]
Maybe go back to 2 tournament setup - have a beginner (medium) earlier tourny, and then a later hard level tourny? This seemed to work out well the last time we did it. I like the idea that you can come to these tournaments and have a lot of fun (and win some prizes!) without being the "best of the best". I don't want people to be discouraged by some of the insanely good "expert" players, and the split-difficulty tournament gives them a great chance to compete amongst their peers.
