10:00-10:30 pm Announcements

10:30 pm - ??? Snapdragon concert.  www.myspace.com/heartsnapdragon

All times are approximate. We'll get to everything when we do, man.

Rules -

a) Single elimination on a PS2; no Hyperspeed unless agreed-upon by both players. Or unless we forget to change it back. Or if we just want to watch you panic for our entertainment.

b) NO Free Bird, Fall of Pangea, War Pigs or any other ridiculously long song (until Finals). We have things to do, man.

c) No Red Lottery, or Yes We Can. Dude, I'd rather stab my ear with a pencil than have to listen to those songs ever again. Feel free to nominate other songs for elimination!

d) Early Rounds - Single elimination, bracketed.

e) Finals - Best of three. Each player picks a song; ties are broken by songs chosen by event organizer.

f) Contestants may use their own controller. All controllers must be functionally unmodified. That is, no cheating…c'mon, it's just a game.

g) Prizes are awarded to the winner of EACH level. Special prize for Best Girl Rocker and best "style" (as determined by event organizer)! And, WE decide what's "special".

h) Event organizer, at her discretion, may bump a player up or down a level, based upon their playing ability. Yeah, that's right, no sandbagging.

i) If you pre-registered and don't show up by the time we're ready to start, we reserve the right to kick your lazy butt to the curb and give your spot to someone else.

j) Event organizer, at her discretion, may make up any other rules (or modify existing ones), if not just to keep herself entertained.

k) Oh yeah...simply being at the event gives us the permission to take pictures and stuff. So, if you're planning to run for President, don't do anything stupid. But, if you're not…feel free to be an idiot!

Blarg, I'm seventeen.  Oh well.  I'll still root for anyone using/dressed as Clive Winston.

This sounds fun. I want to see some crazy stuff out of left field on this one:

"Congrats on first place, and now for your final challenge to win it all. Can you tell us the airspeed velocity of unladen swallow? ..... Oh you don't know! I'm sorry automatic last place, you fail."

That's what I want my $15 to pay for, to see someone cry.  ;D

I like the way you think and would like to subscribe to your newsletter.   :D

Ok, see now I have to really think about stuff to mess with people - hopefully we'll keep you entertained. Send me an email at [email protected] - if you come out I'll give you something just for putting ideas in my head - because right now my head is on overdrive with organizing this!

We seriously considered opening it up to younger contestants, but then realized it would be way too much additional work to have to have parental consent forms.

Be sure and come out anyway, we'll have some great prizes in our drawing!

The prize list isn't on the Breast Fest website yet, but you can check out what we've gotten so far (and I have no idea what will be for the drawings or what will be tourney prizes yet) in our myspace blog.

Well - and it's any venues right to limit age due to restrictions placed on them by the law, etc.  Try and cut them some slack :)  They are afterall throwing an event PERIOD!, and it's in Oklahoma, and they even posted on OKgamers - so YAY!  :)

This sounds awesome, and I'm over 18! Though I wonder if they would have a couple of consoles set up for the people too young to enter the tourny to at least have for open play. It would makes things way cooler and there would probably be a better turn out.

I have to agree with Saif here, but I have another one of those ideas :) we can use the younger players to distract the contestants, you know like dancing with them while they are playing, taunting them, setting their hair on fire. You know fun stuff. Make it a BYOFE (Bring Your Own Fire Extinguisher) now that sounds like fun, and it's for charity  :D

I think we could accomodate that. Well maybe everything but the setting hair on fire....don't think Cowboy Sharkies would be very happy.  ;D
