Hello OKGamers! Hardcore LAN Center is in need of your help in testing our new online ladder system. We are going to be holding two 8 team 2v2 tournaments. One for Modern Warfare 2 and one for Halo 3. Although our site is still underconstruction, the ladders still work and like I said we need to get them tested so we can get used to using them. At the moment we have not figured out how to do a Double elimination bracket using the system so both of these tournaments will be single elimination. The tournament details are posted below.

When: Sunday, April 4th, 2010

Where: HxC Online

Times: N/A at the moment

What: H3/MW2 2v2 Test Tournaments

Registration: Starts - 3/18/10 & Ends - 3/31/10


Cost:
-Halo 3 2v2: FREE
-MW2 2v2: FREE

Halo 3 Rules/Settings
-All official rules/settings will be linked to the tournament info at the HxC Online site
-The tournament will be using MLG's v8 settings
-Single Elimination
-8 Team Max
-Best 2 out of 3
-MLG TS v8 Only
-Round by Round Gametypes

MW2 Rules/Settings
-All official rules/settings will be linked to the tournament info at the HxC Online site
-The tournament will be using MLG's OPC settings

What do you need to do to take part in these tournaments?
Go to HxC Online and register your account. Then on the very top toolbar there will be a button that says, "Tournaments", hover over that button and choose the proper tournament. Then follow the registration steps from there.

Other Notes
-If there are more teams that want to play in these tournaments we will raise the team Max to 16.
-If you sign up for one or both of these tournaments, please be available to play on the tournament date.

General Chat / Just thought I would ask......

Who is actually going to MLG/Combines this year? So far I know that the closest one to Oklahoma is the Combine in Denver. But the schedule so far is:

March - Nashville
April - Orlando
May - Chicago
June - Columbus
July - Denver
October - Washington D.C.

So again. Who is going this year? Because from what I know (Seeing as I dont really play much now) the Halo scene is pretty dead compared to last year, or the year before.

Hey OKgamers. For our next tournament we are trying to have at least 2 projectors to show the halo games on the wall. We are hoping we can get 4 this way we can have 2 for each station. Heres what Im getting at.

Does anyone have a projector they would be willing to let us use that day? We only need it for that day, it will stay in good condition and wont get broken or anything like that, either the person that broke it will have to pay for it or we will pay for it.

So again. Anyone have a projector we can borrow?

So. I just wanted to see who else plays an instrument or sings or whatever. Cuz I know that even though we are mostly gamers alot of us have those hidden talents noone really knows about.

I do vocals. I sing, have been for my entire life. And Im learning how to properly scream for Death metal vocals.
I also play guitar. Im not the best at it but Im learning.

Tournament Aftermath / OKC - Raider's & Hypnotic's Pre-HxC LAN (INVITATION ONLY) - 6/25-26/09

Ok, everything is set in stone. Only people with teams going to the HxC Tournament will be considered for this LAN. Sorry to everyone else.

Where:
My House - If invited I will give you my address.

When:
6/25-26/09

Time:
Start - 6/25 1:00 pm
End - 6/26 11:00 pm

What you need to bring:
-YOUR OWN SETUP - A setup consists of, 1 TV, 1 360, 1 copy of Halo 3, and a controller.
-Either Food or money to go get food

Rules:
-No drugs or Alcohol
-Try not to break anything
-If you make a mess of some sort, clean it up.

We will need help at the end making the house look tidy again, this has to be done or we cant have the LAN.

If you want to POSSIBLY be invited to this LAN, put your team info on here and we will let you know.

Tournament Planning and Hype / Raider's & Hypnotics Pre-HxC LAN (INVITATION ONLY)

Ok people. Me and Hypnotic wanted to have a LAN before the big HxC tournament on the 27th. Below is what we HOPE will happen:

Start: Thursday June 25th anytime after 12:00 p.m.
End: Friday June 26th No later than 1:00 a.m.

We are hoping that we can do this at my house, I have cleared it with my dad now I have to with my mom. We are allowing 2 more teams to join in on this LAN which will be 4 total.

You will need your own SETUP. A setup consists of, 1 TV, 1 360, 1 copy of Halo 3, and a controller.

If you want to POSSIBLY be invited to this LAN, put your team info on here and we will let you know.
