Wow Allied Assault was made in OK? By Whom? I will have to research this for when I go looking for a job.

Hmmmm I'll see if I can't find some locals, but I highly doubt it. I know in Texas places are popping up all over with some new studios, but not in OK as far as I know.

As far as I know, there is zip.

The closest thing I can think of to game development in OK (besides the indie creators out there) is that there's a game design course at a college somewhere in the state.

Yeah, my search turned up notta in the way of any developer houses here :( My plan is after I graduate HOPEFULLY find a general developer job here in OK for a year or two then move on after my wife graduates. I unfortunately can't find anyone here interested in a team, but oh well maybe something will come up eventually.

whats the name of the program/school you're were in? I wanted to get into the same thing but the acedemic advisors lied to me to pad the number of students they were seeing. by the time i realized they didnt know what they were talking about i was too far into a Bachelors to turn back.

just seen how old this is but i'd still like to know if your still around......

They don't have it every year. You have to be a computer science senior and be able to enroll in a level 4 cs class. We program in C#

The company that was referred to for Medal of Honor: Allied Assault is known as 2015. I believe they might still be in business, because the website for the company shows that they're looking for a Mobile Game Designer and an HTML5 Mobile App Developer.. Both of those are pretty recent additions, I think, but I don't know.

I looked into them a long time ago when I first had the interest in game development... I'm a C.S. major at UCO.

Sorry to revive a dead post, but we are located in downtown OKC and are making HTML5 multiplayer games. You can find more info on us at http://goldfirestudios.com (we are hiring).
