My Review of Mercenaries:
Gameplay: Repetitive mission structure. However, blowing stuff up makes up for it. Challenges also give the game a well needed break between the horrible repetitive gameplay.
Sound: Not much in terms of music, there are some interactive musical pieces here and there. But the soldiers radioing in get FLAT OUT annoying. While I understand it adds a new gameplay mechanic, the game needs to have more than 3 lines recorded for each faction regarding alerting the merc's position.
Multiplayer: Easily the best part of the game. Only problem is that the difficulty does not change with coop. There are some technical hiccups, you arent able to use quick match or custom match, which is a major downfall.
Replayability: There is some replayability, but that consists of blowing stuff up.
Story: None.
Overall?: The game is horrible all around, but somehow is fun. It's hard to describe, but when you and your friend takes down a skyscraper overlooking a city, there is nothing to say but wow. There are no framerate drops, the game runs at a smooth constant 30 FPS.
Score: 7/10

It has a bunch of stuff found in other games done way better, yet it somehow remains to be a lot of fun. Especially if your in Co-Op, and get to do everything with a buddy.
I'd say it worth checking out, though overall it won't last you much more than a rental.
