INTERESTED IN STAFF?
Here's what's going down. This Sunday we are meeting to review various OKgamers related changes. One of the biggest changes - is splitting staff up.
Tourny staff - really don't do much on the forums.
Online staff - don't really help out at events due to scheduling, rides, etc.
Street Crew - talk a bit online, but really aren't around anymore, and need to be 'built back up' badly.
As a result of this, we are looking at splitting up the staff into those defined categories, with a few others added. (Right now everyone is just "Staff" or leads, and get spammed with the same emails as everyone gets, etc)
So?
Assuming that goes through - you'll be wantin to think about what staff you'll want to be. Sure you can participate in all 3, etc - but the truth is usually a volunteer finds their niche, and sticks with it.

Tourny - consider coming out and helping at the 6/06 tournament if your in the Tulsa area, or getting with Th3 R3ligion on what he needs in the OKC area.
Online - if your not able to get to those sort of deals, but want to help, TRUST ME - we need online forum based feedback - just keep bothering me in PM's after Sunday - and we'll get the form back up, etc.
Street Crew - I'll hug you? No seriously, we need street crew bad, but yea - it's alot of driving? From time to time anyway. Let me know via the form after Sunday.

A SERIOUS NOTE ON STAFF:
Because the form is down? Because no one cares? Because of something - we've had a serious diedown in staff activity. It's pretty much ME, and 3 other people right now. No joke.
So, I'm hoping this new categorization will be approved, and improve things. Approved = Sunday meeting - anyone is able to come, check out this forum for the thread on that - sadly, yes it's in Tulsa, sorry outta towners

If we split things up - I think it'll help alot. Tourny staff have been so dependable for me at least locally, but rarely are on the forums, and get spammed with "Sign in and give feedback dang it!" messages that are REALLY intended for the "Online Staff" or staff who are remote, or cannot help in person, but want to help out. And trust me - Online only? VERY VALUABLE. Saif = won't move without discussion. Without online staff... No discussion.
And that's not even GETTING INTO the issues of added Film Crew needed, Mods, etc.
So yea. OKgamers needs voluntary staff to exist, or at the very least, maintain current efforts. If we lose all our staff, the site will remain, but we'll stop all our "offline promotions and efforts". Without staff I'll not be trying to throw events, gather freebies and sponsorships, and well - it'll just be the online resource arm of the site in play. Plenty of people can and still will use it, but we'd have to end IRL events, volunteering for hours and promotional efforts - because without the feedback to guide us, and the staff to help at events, scaling back to basic "Hope people google us / spread the word" will have to do.
