We have the privilege of running demoes and hosting an event at Tokyo in Tulsa on the release weekend of Big in Japan (the fourth set in the Monsterpocalypse Miniatures game). We just released a new part of our site geared for people who know nothing about Monsterpocalypse, so if you are interested in a miniatures game that pits kaiju against kaiju in a battle for the planet, check out:

We will be hosting demoes and a tournament at Tokyo in Tulsa next weekend so be sure and stop by for a free demo of the game. Looking forward to seeing lots of you there!

On May 21st, 2010, Monsterpocalypse players from across the world will gather to test their body-slamming, monster-smashing skills against one another. At the end of this event there will be one player standing who will be crowned the world’s next Monsterpocalypse Master. The event will be so Monstrous that we could only give it one name: MonCon.

Monsterpocalypse is a collectible, table-top miniatures game made by Privateer Press. I run a website that is hosting MonCon which is also a Monsterpocalypse Masters (think world championship) event. We are based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma and are looking to start local tournament scenes for this wonderful game in the Tulsa area. We will be at the H3 2v2 Regional Road to Supercon at TCC Metro this coming weekend showing off the beautiful miniatures AND teaching people how to play the game.

We will be updating our website within the week to include full fledged armies for players to purchase. If you are going to be at the H3 2v2 event, we'd love for you to stop by and learn a little bit about this game that we have come to know and love. In fact, if you learn the game from us and subsequently purchase an army later next week, we are going to let anyone in the area attend MonCon free of charge. While you will miss out on some of the convention exclusives, you still get to attend an entire weekend of awesomeness for free.

To kind of give you a scale, we've got players coming from California, Washington, Texas, Louisiana, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, New York, and even Canada. We've also got two Privateer Press employees (the developer of the game being one of them) attending the event. For more information about Monsterpocalypse, see below
