Event Description:
Last LAN we had 60 people show up. This next one will be one of bigger LANs.

18 and up only, will require state ID or Drivers License.
(OSUIT Students need only their School ID)

We have tables setup for :
Magic the Gathering, Console Gaming, PC Gaming.
We also Are having a Costume Contest



Additional Details:
BYOC (Bring your own Console/Computer/Cables/) and TV/Monitors.

We will have a limited amount of Televisions available for others to use our TVs will be in use for the tournament.

Our Tournament is RSVP only, attending the LAN just to play is not RSVP, due to the large amount of people wanting to participate previously. RSVP by emailing [email protected].

PC Tournament games will consist of - Left 4 Dead 2, Team Fortress 2, and Halo : CE.

Console Tournament games will consist of - CoD Black ops, Mortal Kombat, Super Smash Bros.


Free Pizza and drinks will be provided. Door Prizes & Tournament Prizes

There is no fee for the tournament!

The prizes for the Console Tournament are Gift cards to Game Stop[/color].

As for Street Fighter, I will bring it up at our next meeting OCT 6th where we Finalize game decisions and etc.
However our game list will be dependent on our members who wish to bring a copy, if they have one.

I will have a tally of equipment/Games being volunteered by OCT 6th, however were trying to keep the games themed as much as possible to being Halloween or something of the like.  (Call of Duty Black ops will be a survival challenge with the Zombie mode, Reach section will be a variant of  Zombies)

PC Prizes will REQUIRE steam to redeem

Door Prizes will be given out at the 7pm Meeting

Costume competition will have a Gift Card to Gamestop for first place and a Collectors Item for Second.

5We will be selling CAT 6 (Gigabit speed) Ethernet cords 2.50 for the first foot, and 25 cents for each additional foot, we will make them there for you! Be sure to hang onto the LAN Cable for all future LANs/Events

I will bring it up at next Friday's meeting, the game list may change slightly, but the final game list will be up at the latest that Saturday.

Feel free to submit any other game's that you would like to have and I will mention them for voting.

However, I'd like to let everyone know, the meeting is limited to students and they make the vote. 

Our tournaments are also not based in just one game, it is a team based tournament of 4 per team.

For fighters or other games that do not allow four players at a time, each team will take turns pitting a member vs a member until all players have played. If there is a tie we will have a sudden death match to decide.

Each team will compete in multiple games as well, each victory we add a point to the team.  The team with the most points will win the prize.
For Example : Supersmah bros, Halo, Marvel vs Capcom, pong. Team that has the highest points at the end wins.

Full price of a shirt is 15$ If you want your name/Gamer name/Tag on the back it will be 25$.

We want to make sure we get the shirt sizes that you want/fit available.
