OKC-Fight Club 4: Casuals SFIV,T6, and more 03/13/10

Fight Club 4.  Casual play

Date: 03/13/10 6pm
Location:  Cactus Jacks - http://www.cactusjacksokc.com/location.html
Cost:  Free, Cactus Jacks arcade games are not free
Rules: Casuals, anything goes.

Games
SFIV
Tekken 6
Powerstone 2
Rival Schools 2: Project Justice (maybe)

This is a BYOC event and if you want to bring a 360 or wii, you may do so, but you are responsible for your own equipment.  We hope to have other people bring in consoles so that we can play other games.  If you have any questions, please respond in this topic. Please tell me if you are bringing a setup.

If there is enough interest, we'll have a tournaments for whichever game people want to play.  In the past 2 fight clubs, there have been no interest in tournaments.

Power Stone 2 2v2 teams

Rules
Best 2 of 3 games, Finals best 3 of 5 games
Random Stage select
Items on
No two same characters on the same team.

Free Entry, Single Elimination, RANDOM TEAMS.  What this means is that you will enter your name into a pool and a random teammate will be chosen for you.  This will break down the barrier and you will get to know new people at fight club as well as strengthen the community.  The prize will be 10 dollars to the final team and bragging rights.

Someone actually brought BlazBlue disc for xbox, but we didn't have an xbox setup until 8pm.

As for tournies - I kinda thought the idea of just a gathering was cool in it's self, so I'd vote against haha.  Dunno though, depends on what is played and to what rules.

Please do not flame the best competitive gaming console. I know I know it sucks you dont have no one to compete against you on your level... just come on over to xbox console and there will be plenty for you to slay!!!! Hey im bringing the converter for gamers who just have to play on a certain controller.

Been getting into SF4 again.  Will probably bring it and a 360, although I might try out other games if I do go to this event.

After playing Power Stone 2 for a few minutes, I came up with those rules.  It should be pretty fair.  Power Stone 2 is a simple game and everyone should pick it up pretty quick.  Everyone should enter and play since it's free and have a chance to win some money.
