General Chat / Where to host a LAN party?
« on: June 27, 2012, 09:56:41 pm »
I would like to host a Xbox lan party amongst friends in or near the OKC area. Anyone have any suggestions about how to do this? It would most likely be 10 or less people. I need to rent a room or space somewhere, but I don't know where to look and it can't be too expensive. I would only need it for one day.

General Chat / Halo Reach for sale
« on: May 13, 2012, 11:38:21 pm »
Is there anyone wanting to buy a used Halo Reach copy? I bought it brand new about a month ago and I rarely play it cause the storyline and multiplayer is uninteresting to me. I would just like to sell it to someone who might make good use of it.

I am asking $20 for it. Is that too much?

Tournament Planning and Hype / Bomberman

Would anyone be interested in a Bomberman tournament? I was thinking maybe a 10-player Saturn Bomberman tourney or one of the other bomberman games. I haven't decided on a exact date, but it will be during summer.

Well first of all, I'm not looking to join any tourmanents. I was just hoping I could form a small group to play a few rounds of FFA on the weekends.. Plus i don't like joining already existing groups. I rather create my own. I should have stated this first, but oh well.

Sounds cool, but not quite what I'm looking for. Thanks for the info though.

I'm looking for people to play Free For All mode in MW3 on the weekends. Anyone interested? I know I could join some random game with matchmaker online, but I'd rather play with locals.

I guess I'm out of luck for people who are interested in this. I'm still looking for team members. I need at least 4 players or maybe more for backup in case others don't show up for scrim matches and stuff.

Nice! Actually instagib is a game mod. So it's part of the real game. You can add my gamer tag Zero6823 as friend on there if you'd like. If you want to be part of a team/clan, let me know by PM or email.

Well with strafe jumping and rocket tricks you can gain speed in movements that's a lot faster than running straight. Then there's fast weapon switching depending on what game mode you play. I just find it faster paced than COD. That's just my opinion though.

Anyway, try the game out and let me know if you're down for playing this game or not.

Awesome! If you do, send me a PM on the forums here or can email me [email protected]

This game has a steep learning curve for those who are not used to fast paced shooter games. So if you've been playing with something like Call of Duty, Counter-Strike, etc then this will be quite different.

Anyone here play Quake Live, or would be interested in learning how to play it? I'm wanting to create a team consisting of 4 players for Capture the Flag or Team Deathmatch matches with hopes of competing in big league tournaments someday in the future.

I'm fairly serious about this. I'm no beginner to this game. I'm mostly a CTF player. I've been playing Quakelive ever since it was in closed beta.

I'm looking to start a clan for Quake 3 arena.  Mostly online competition. No skill requirements. If you're new or old to the game, it doesn't matter. Anyone can join. We do not have a name yet. If you are interested, reply here or PM me.
