Commodore Gaming has announced its opening of a North American headquarters this Tuesday. The new office will be located in Stamford, Connecticut. Commodore made its return to the gaming scene back in 2005, but has been stationed in Europe. Commodore has announced that they are to release 4 new models of their brand gaming machines that feature their own brand of operating system and will also have Windows based units available with top of the line processing and video power.

The company has also hired on Bill Simms, a veteran from Electronic Arts as VP of North American Sales. Some may remember Commodore products such as the VIC-20, the C-64, and most notably the Amiga which featured advanced elements such as enhanced graphical quality and multitasking ahead of its time.
