Worldwide PS3 outage (seriously)
« on: March 01, 2010, 11:20:32 am »
http://www.sankakucomplex.com/2010/03/01/ps3s-day-of-doom-ps3s-struck-down-in-worldwide-outage/ (nsfw site, but this portion is fine)

(XA eDIT! - Let's go with a really safe site - http://g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/702893/PS3-Meltdown-Will-Time-Bring-A-Cure.html?utm_source=g4tv&utm_medium=twitterblog&utm_campaign=so-0907-twittergamenews360-702893&cmpid=so-0907-twittergamenews360-702893 )

Yes, PS3s all over the world, and only the big ones not the SLIMS, are reporting a full blown simultaneous outage of everything.......

games won't run, PSN doesn't work, save data and trophies are fine UNLESS you try and play a game, than all data from that game is GONE.

I know this because my PS3 is one of these jamn things, i've lost Blazblue and Tekken data (i did the fighting games because those are easy to recover) and they do not work.

No idea what happened, Sony says they're working on it but have no idea aside from they did it on purpose to get us to buy slims

360 fanboys - Yea yea, kick it while it's down - it still didn't need to be bought THREE TIMES OVER to get a "good one" finally.  lol

So - if it's not plugged into the internet - does that help?  Or - no?  lol

PS3 fanboy. And they still dont know when it will get fixed. And who cares that the 360 used to get 3 red rings, its not like it cost the owner anything to fix it. They pay for shipping and for the repairs.

Butl3r - I'm no fanboy.  How can I be a fanboy when all I was doing was trying to level it out, and calm 360 fanboys down.  I'm not in here BASHING 360, 360 people came in here bashing PS3 owners.

I own all THREE consoles.  I throw events on ALL THREE CONSOLES.  If I was a basher, I'd only support PS3 shooters, and events you've gone to wouldn't have existed :)

That aside - what in THE WORLD DO YOU MEAN COST ME NOTHING?!@

I've spent well over 800$ PERSONALLY because of MS's piss poor "get to the market first" strategy.  What kind of stupid hand-fed from MS perspective do you have buddy?!!@  *must not kill fanboys!@#*

The 360 - rushed to market.  It FAILED AS A SOLID PRODUCT.  The reputation blown to heck.  I know H3 dedicated players that had to buy 4+ UNITS!@#!@#  It's a product that cost people hundreds, if not THOUSANDS - because their "warantee" wasn't always 3 years, as I recall that was a RESPONSE to the announced fact 33+ PERCENT FAILED, and it was a PR MOVE.  A PR move that  isn't even in effect right now if I read properly.  Not helping the RROD'ers happening at 1 year and 1 day, ONE BIT.

I'm pretty sure that the number went over 50% FAILING.  How do you THINK that their ugh.  And the disk splittin!?  And the.  Man.

Man, seriously?   Geez.  "Didn't cost the owner anything".  Wow - that's serious MS fanboydom there.  I stand in awe.
