I was the only HxC member out. My suggestion is we need local squads. Not just HxC... of crews that are willing to go to the gamestops near their home and sticking around for the whole 2 hours of midnight release.

"Awesomely enough, Fight Club was hosted in an Arcade and was indeed very successful."

The Last Fight Klub only had 6 people show. Now as awesome their events were people didnt keep touch so we need a system to keep reminders going. Get fighter to okgamers facebook page.

I see lots of promise in this thread.....followed by an immense amount of complaining.

Timmy - good for you lol, did you PROMOTE THE LOVE OF OKGAMERS?  :)  lol

HxC - I'm sorry you were the only one out there man!  I thought you'd have your normal crew...

..yes.  We need to actively start getting street teams together, and mobilizing them; for OKgamers Sammy is working on that, HxC sounds like you are doing the same.  Then when we work together on things like this in the future, we'll be more prepared.

Blake seems to be actively working as your "HR person" or such, so I guess he'll head up your efforts for OKC?  Even though he lives here?  Kinda confused there - we should probably start an official "How we are doing what" in the Business forum.

FIGHTERS NOT SHOWING UP?

Because they got owned.  Because they weren't good enough, and are either:

Too casual to care.
Too dumb to learn
Don't realize - they can learn and get better.

If they are that 3rd, we should always be friendly enough to be there for them if they are interested; it's a tight rope though, few people take a pounding then want a helping hand right afterwards :)

OKGAMERs / HxC WENT OUT AND TALKED TO GAMERS:  let's hope they show up for 3/26, and we get not only new blood, but some new long term types to really improve the scene.

WANT TO HELP?!
Spread the word - http://www.okgamers.com/forums/index.php/topic,3367.0

There's a flyer on there, print it out and put it somewhere important.

There's a Facebook event - GO SIGN UP, and SHARE WITH FRIENDS :)

Talk about this stuff with other gamers, let them know - that's the only way we'll ever see real improvement - gotta communicate.  ( Oh. And when you run into a fighting gamer?  Protip:  If nice doesn't work - tell them they are trash, might help :) )
