Is it just me - or are the mods fighting and making spam all over this thread?  My mouse hovers over 'delete posts' for most of this second page lol.

Now when you say "Mario Kart," which one are you referring to?

For SC3 and Mario kart - we'll probably have a secondary poll for what versions after they are confirmed / the main poll stops - as yea, they seem to be winning other than Halo 2, and well, there are multiple versions of each.

sc3 - arcade or ps2?  Mario Kart - current version or NES version, or another version that's popular and I don't know about? lol

There should either be a Mario Kart SNES battle competition or Mario Kart 64 4-player versus. Although I would be down for a DS tourney.

Arguing? No way, I suggested a DS tourney and, as you can see, a non mod likes the idea. Yes!

I honestly think a DS tournament is, ridiculious. That would either be a lot of equipment OR a lot of people using someone elses equipment. Don't know about you guys, but I don't like a lot of people playing with my DS or PSP. I don't mind a few friends messing with it, but when it goes to one person to another to another, bad things.

Thats why I'd suggest console or arcade.

The great thing about starting something - it's only as small as you make it.

So - you'll find I'm quite open and optimistic about this kinda stuff.  You think it can happen?  Let me tell you what I say -

We'll need at least one pre-registration thread for this tournament imo - just to judge the need for the larger formats of Halo tournament that people are suggesting - SO - why don't we offer a vote for format/pre-reg for the Mario Kart as well.  We'll give people the option to say if they want it - and we'll do it if they can have at least 6 pre-registered*.

* = assuming we have the hardware taken care of...  So, what kind of hardware solutions would we need?  2 to 4 DS's and games?  Any cables / yea needed?  Could we also wire in a TV so others could watch it / make it more of a spectator sport?

Listen - OKgamers.com is all about the local communities.  If the community wants it, I say we do our best to provide it.  All we need is a bit of feedback, cooperation when it comes to hardware - and of course, spreading the word.

I think swat is an awful idea for team we should just stick to MLG settings and do a 4v4 slayer and objective as well as a ffa. You can get all the gametypes and levels off the brackets at MLGpro.com. I'm excited to find out what were gonna do for the november 12th tournament. Any 1 who wants to practice and learn some Battle rifle tricks send me a Friend request to    Born 2 L2ape over XBL.  Keep Gaming.

I think we should set up the tournament just like MLG does if you need any body to bring an extra copy of h2 or a tv let me know. I know what all the settings are 4 MLG so if you need to know what they are Let me know.
