Anyone have hookups for Poster / large paper printing?
« on: May 18, 2009, 08:41:52 am »

Hey guys - in the next few weeks OKgamers will have some printing needs, beyond our normal "Do you play games" flyer push.

(Speaking of, we've gotten 40,000 of those flyers courtesy of Metro Glow and Tokyo in Tulsa!  Check with R3ligion for OKC area, or myself for the Tulsa area on how to get those and help us pass them out!!)

Printing wise, we are needing cheap to free-ish lol, printing for flyers on a small run, but also some larger format posters.

Printing credit, etc - could be added to the design to help offset cost of course.

Anyway - if anyone has any connections, etc - please let me know!

Ah, well and don't get me wrong, we've worked with several great local Oklahoma printing companies!

The problem here is - this promotion we'll be printing up won't really have one / any current sponsors.  So, we are either looking for someone that knows of any deals, or a printing company to sponsor a printing through credit on the flyers, or to be kind and help us with a deal, etc.

Sam's Club and Costco.com do 20x30 posters for $10 each. It's in their photo processing center. WAY cheaper than FedEx/Kinko's.

We use Sam's Club and they have them done in 2 hours. Just need the file in jpg format, upload it to their website, and pick it up.

Fury - not talking alot so that might help out - what sizes though?

20x30 - might be a little big for this use.  I'm specifically thinking 11x17 area, and probably not too much bigger - as I'd want to encourage these to be posted in store fronts, etc.

Also, since they are one time 'flyer' use and not tourny use, 10$ a pop is a bit too much for me to ask of my personal budget ;)

Umm I Dunno..  Big x Big  lol  lemme look up the Plotter

lets see  Looks like it can do as big as  42.2 Inches x 74.7 Inches. I Might be able to squeeze 3 out if I go and use different ones.  we have 4 plotters. Its a HP DesignJet 800PS we use it mainly to print Air Traffic Route Charts Maps
