General Chat / Re: So Pirates, Ninjas, or Cowboys?

oh please

Pirate-Ninja-Cowboys are the answer
This would be the answer if Pirate-Ninja-Cowboys didn't explode from awesome overload at birth.

Knowing this fact, ninjas have Naruto. Pirates have scurvy. Cowboys have guns and cool hats.

Cowboys are the clear winner. Believe it.

Considered that, but no way I could make it up there with a full setup. xD

Okay, not looking good. Medical trouble has knocked out another one of my possible rides. -____-;

Really, REALLY want to go to this one, but as of now, my chances aren't looking good. Sorry guys. D:

Yeah. =/ But it's not really a big deal on which game is better. I like both, but as far as favorites go, I much prefer Rock Band 1&2.
Until recently I was a fan of the Rock Band series as well. But GH WT has impressed me with it's user created content. I'm not sure anymore. xP

Crap! >.<

My ride flaked on me. ...Again...

So unless I can find another ride from Kingfisher to Tulsa in 3 days, I won't be in attendance.

Angry Tatsu is angry.

a while back? it came out saturday night -.-
Demo at a Best Buy. Think it was before last Saturday, actually...

Friend brought the full game over today. A lot more fun than GHIII for me at least. Like I said though, not an insanely good GH player.

It's not a clone, actually. Harmonix wanted to make Rock Band long before they made Guitar Hero. RedOctane figured people wouldn't by a multi-peripheral game, so they ended up making Guitar Hero instead. Technically, Guitar Hero would be a Rock Band clone, but let's not let this get confusing.
Hadn't heard that before. Less confusing is good with me.

Seriously. There's no wavedashing or L canceling either. Gheeeeey.

But on a serious note, I can't see Guitar Hero getting anything but better by copying Rock Band...who copied Guitar Hero in the first place...

Please dont center your text.

Harmonix did not copy anything from Activision. Rockband is the REAL spinoff of the Guitar Hero series. Harmonix owned the brand name until they decided they wanted to make a band game. So they sold the Guitar Hero name to make room for the Rock Band name.
This text style is automatically applied by my browser. If it's bugging you that much I could change it.

This I know.
But Rock Band is still a GH clone, regardless of who made it. A better game, in my opinion, but still a clone.

On topic, I played GH WT a while back. I didn't get to play very long, but it was fun at least. Now, maybe it's because I suck at GH, but there wasn't a huge difficulty problem for me.

Used to read Game Informer and Shonen Jump!, but I've found out that both news and manga are much more free over the internet.

General Chat / Re: What Web Browser do you use?

Firefox 3.

I'm really going to try and make it out.

If I make it out, I'll be bringing 2 setups.

2v2 has been getting dropped later into the event in recent tourneys, so this should be fun. =D

I'd come up for Brawl. Sounds like an awesome tourney.

Maybe I could get a few CoD players to come up, but I'm not sure. I'll spread the word.

Whoa...sorry about the huge font...totally didn't mean to do that....

A Pokemon Master, eh? Now you've got my attention.

I could bring a VCR to set it up. I've got all the necessary equipment, it just might delay the matches in question if the capture refuses to agree with me. Which it often does. xP

I will more than likely be coming to the Funhouse and bringing my small crew again. If I can make it, I'll bring at least a full setup. Possibly 2 if I can get the hardware together and fit it all in Hawk's Clown Car sized Granny-mobile. >.<
Maybe I can convince him to bring his truck instead, but iunno.

Sorry about leaving so abruptly last time Saiph. I would've stayed to help clean up, but my ride had school in the morning. Hopefully we'll have more hardware so we can get done by a reasonable hour this time.

Something I'd like to ask though. I have a capture device and laptop that I could bring to help record the event. The problem is that the device has decided that it will work "whenever the eff it wants too", and more often than not takes 2-3 minutes to set up not accounting for if the program goes unresponsive.
Should I bring it and see if I can get it to work? It's a pain in the ♥♥♥, but I could give it a try.
