a while back? it came out saturday night -.-
Demo at a Best Buy. Think it was before last Saturday, actually...

Friend brought the full game over today. A lot more fun than GHIII for me at least. Like I said though, not an insanely good GH player.

It's not a clone, actually. Harmonix wanted to make Rock Band long before they made Guitar Hero. RedOctane figured people wouldn't by a multi-peripheral game, so they ended up making Guitar Hero instead. Technically, Guitar Hero would be a Rock Band clone, but let's not let this get confusing.
Hadn't heard that before. Less confusing is good with me.

Yeah. =/ But it's not really a big deal on which game is better. I like both, but as far as favorites go, I much prefer Rock Band 1&2.

Until recently I was a fan of the Rock Band series as well. But GH WT has impressed me with it's user created content. I'm not sure anymore. xP

Some songs in GHWT are quite fun, but Rock Band 2 has honestly won this one for me.

Got to play it at BestBuy for a single song "Up Around the Bend" by CCR and even at Medium and not touching GH for about 6 months or so I was able to easily 5 star it. Seems they did make the game a bit easier, but like I said I only played that one song. I do really like the new guitars, along with the Les Paul they added weight that the first two were missing.

The menu also left a little to be desired, song selection was a bit confusing at first because (I assume) you can now make a set list to play instead of just single songs. So you select the song and press "Start" from there.
GT: Eighty8keyes Haloez and anything else I might be playing.

The making the set list is just like the one RB has.

I'm so much of a Guitar Hero fanboy and I will say that this one is absolutely horrible. I still like it better than Rock Band though ;p

We're almost the same, yet so different. I'm a fan of both games, but I'm biased, and I like Harmonix ALOT, and I love Rock Band so much better. :D

Ya, I agree they messed up world tour with the "rope notes", but it still beats rock bands rectangle notes.
