Gow rules
« on: February 28, 2007, 08:46:11 pm »
Here are some basic rules we can change future but here is what I am thinkin 2v2 Gow double elim. Lets do warzone no weapons swap 5 mins rounds ppl vote on the map and mb execution but with same rules also bleed out time is 20 secs. If you want any change thats fine with me also any glitch will result on a forfeit there will be a game of 3-5 rounds seems fair. There are just some basic rules any change is fine with me

MLG Rules are:

Gametypes and Maps
Execution - Canals
Execution - Clocktower
Execution - Fuel Depot
Execution - Gridlock
Execution - Mansion
Execution - War Machine

Gametype Settings
1. Extreme Content = Off
2. Gametype = Execution
3. Number of Rounds = 5
4. Bleed-Out Duration = 30
5. Round Duration = 5
6. Friendly Fire = Yes
7. Weapons Swapped = Yes
8. Replace Hammer of Dawn with Boomshot

Again, not that I llike MLG, but you guys seem to be using those rules for the other games, like Halo, so I figured you'd want to be consistent.  ;)

This is what I hear so far Godmode has 2 full setups without tv`s and recen eps has a 360 and two controllers but no tv. guys i can bring a tv but its probaly gonna be really really small. lol I might be able to bring one big one but cmon guys anybody else have a tv. lol Saif or anybody else just willing to help out can you guys just bring a tv. Most of my tv`s are to big to carry in by myself so i might need some help on that.

lol - a 'full setup' cannot be missing a tv... else it's not 'full' lol

Re- hardware - I've brought TV's for smash before, and people have complained about them, so I don't think my TV's will do you any good.

--

HOWEVER - I wasn't asking about hardware - that's something that should be covered in the pre-reg thread.

I was concerned about having playable / realistic rules.

The one's I posted are MLG and, as much as I don't like MLG itself, it stands to reason that if you're going by MLG rules for Melee and such, then you want to stay consistent and use MLG for Gears.  :)
By the way, will it by 2v2 or 4v4 on Gears? That wasn't decided in the vote for the tournament.

2v2 sounds like it would be best for all of us considering the limited people that voted for the game.
