Yes, that's why I wasn't specific on the location.

Glad to hear your event went well! Wow, Makosira got second? Your event had some real talent show up!
Hope you hit your goals, and I'm glad OKgamers worked as the resource we are doing our best to make it!

That's cool. Is Joe Mama's free?
yes lol but why cant we just have one night for overnight gaming lol thats all i want games in general so we can get like everyone that likes to play games in there i can bring like 4 different systems
thats all i want lol one overall extravaganza of gaming lol.
lol wow....i just dont know what to say anymore.....
I'm still on the fence when it comes to using the Wiimote for controlling a game, especially something that takes more fine tuned movements like SSBB, Zelda, and Manhunt. I actually got to play Mario Galaxy at Wal-Mart the other day (they actually have a playable model in the gardening section, along with a broken set of Rock Band drums) and it really wasn't that bad, but still don't know really, since the only games I really have played-played are WiiSports I'm deprived I know.
i dont know if this has been pitched out before im sure it probably has but i was wondering would it be possible to run some type of overnight trounament for multiple games more like a lock-in get together thing maybe. it would definetely be a good way to get some more word out about okgamers...
I've discussed the possiblity of doing this for SSBB at Joe Momma's - they are up for it, but we'd need a ACTUAL LAUNCH DATE locked down before we could really plan too much eh?

I've never played any Super Smash Brothers games, but they sound like fun. So, if we were to do something like this, someone would have to teach me how to play.
A lock in would be a good time to learn - and a bad time... Because if you don't like the game - it's kinda a bad time to figure that out lol.
Anyway - I'd suggest messing around with Melee a bit, and if you hate it, find out now. Else, yea, I'm sure you'd be able to get plenty of tips at such a event.
Now we just need a firm SSBB release date, and I can start talking to Joe Momma's about this again.
