You should speak to the resident webmaster, Saif, aka X_A.

http://www.okgamers.com/forums/index.php?action=profile;u=2

He has anime night at his place and is currently watching Deadman Wonderland (unless they finished it...?) and he SHOULD BE WATCHING PUELLA MAGI MADOKA MAGICA or ANO HANA soon, RIGHT SAIF?  RIGHT?

Anime in Tulsa:

www.tulsaanime.com - TAO - one of several Tulsa based Anime Clubs / Groups.  They meet 2 times a month.

www.tokyointulsa.com - Oklahoma's Largest Anime & Japanese Cultural Event

There are Manga groups as well; TAO will pretty much be a good informant of that sorta stuff; I'd plug in there!

<-- Is in OKC :( Thanks for the info though.

Why's it seem like every scene I am into is always "better" in Tulsa.

Not being from OKC, I don't know all the inner workings, but Google suggests:

And this one looks legit:

As for "Better" - well, things definitely happen in OKC.  Izumicon, while smaller, does happen  there.  Gaming wise, OKgamers works with who we can down there to help out, and for Halo/FPS - you've got way more than Tulsa does.

The difference between a liberal and a conservative is that the liberal will ask you to vote republican while a conservative gives facts and asks for you to decide

Sadly, the anime group I was a part of in Bixby died a year ago. I've been unsuccessful in locating any nearby groups, despite knowing BA has one. My attempts to revive my local group have fallen flat, so now my only way to get in touch with fellow otaku is to a. run into them randomly, b. find one while playing online, c. facebook. My only real source for interesting new anime now is the net, and I tend to only go to TnT, but I always love going to TnT. Currently re-watching Claymore.

My favorite anime are FLCL, Ghost in the Shell, Claymore, and Afro Samurai, but I watch so much more then that.

Got any recommendations on where else to find good anime?
In Twilight is where the true sanctuary awaits the truly worthy.

TAO may only be active here now:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/22507053909/

They may not be the group you want to join in Tulsa, but also will know of other groups.  I haven't attended in a while / kept up with the club scene, so I am not 100% sure.

Also, the TnT forums may give you some leads:  www.tokyointulsa.com

K-on, if you haven't seen it yet, one of my favorite new anime.  Really high quality, addicting music.
http://www.animefreak.tv/watch/kon-episode-1-english-dubbed-online-free

I've seen some other great ones also, If i can think of them, ill come back.

Anime movies,
'5 centimeters per second' is really great movie.
"The girl who leapt through time". was really interesting.

(and of coarse the obvious, every single studio ghibli movie).  If you havn't seen those, see them quick.

Street Fighter IV.
World of Warcraft.
I've been creating MOD Content since WolfED.exe and DoomED.exe.  Love to learn Maya and Zbrush also.
