The closest date to today that I can get a room for is two weeks from now Nov 29th, is that kool or should I move this back to a date that is not near a holiday?

you should try and get this information out there cause there were alot of people coming... i just called my team and said that this wasnt prolly going down and they had just found out from me. people might be pissed if they accidentally drive all the way down there and didnt see this message a day before the tourny... im not trying to be mean im just saying that it would suck lol

If you had a new date - you should put that in the subject.

However, I've called your posted venue, they do not have a date set for you 2 weeks from now, and thus your location is now defunct, and we are moving your post to planning and hype.

If you do not have a venue, date, and at least one game designated - you do NOT have a tournament or event, and would be asked to keep such threads out of the tournament & events area.

In the future at least a several day notice will be requested of businesses who need to cancel, and we be discussing putting that into place now at the next OKgamers meeting due to recent events.


OKC GAMERS - there is an Anime Convention, Izumicon that OKC OKgamers.com lead R3ligion will be running gaming next weekend.  The thread should have been up already lol, but rest assured, there will at least be an event with gaming in your area soon.  We at OKgamers.com apologize for any issues you've had and will do better in the future for you and yours.
