Omg I see less whining on the PMS forums.  :o

If you wanna be competitive be prepared for both systems.... converters/fightpads/sticks... there are numerous ways to get around your 360 fears.

I'm so tired of drowning in boy tears every time I sign on here. ;;-_-

The 360 is an fps console. Unless you use stick. Go to any tournament in texas and you'll find that ps3 is standard. I'm not trying to complain and i'm glad oklahoma is making an attempt at supporting the scene, but I gotta be picky.

As for every tournament in Texas being on ps3 for mk... not true. I know that's the case for most  fighting games... well i guess all really until mk, but its played on both systems.

Don't take things so personally, Ray. My comment wasnt calling you out.... it was a general statement, lol. Pad, stick, rocks.... I don't care I can play on anything so all I was saying is if people want to be competitive in mk it would greatly benefit to learn how to adapt to both systems.

is it on both in texas? i mean UCC series has it all on PS3 and that's pretty much all the bigger TX tournies round up into 1. I don't really follow MK but it was PS3 on the UCC Championship.

Platform doesn't matter to me, I have my set up for both. Plan on wrecking the local comp regardless of platform

Nothing was taken personal. Just sharing my opinion. I mainly play tekken so when I say "texas tourneys" I mainly mean just tekken. Tekken wasn't even on 360 until t6. I'll try to find a cheap pad to buy so I can come play next tourney.

Oh and that dude knows whats up. My baek aint no joke. ;)

Raybone:  I actually have a pretty nice fightpad you might actually enjoy for x-box.  PDP made a marval commemorative fightpad that's actually pretty nice.  low-profile buttons that are close together and sensitive, making inputs a lot easier, especially multi-button inputs.  My problem with pad has always been hitting 2 or more buttons at the same time.  My thumb curves and due to the spacing and shape of the buttons, I always hit either one or the other, but never both.  This pad makes it quite simple.  Also, the d-pad part of it is pretty nice.  It has audible inputs (clicking), so you can hear your inputs instead of just hoping you did them right.  If you want to show up to town a lil bit early, say noonish or what not, you can swing by the house to try it out and get some practice in before the tournament.  If you don't like the pad, you can stick around for some ps3 pick ups back at my house afterward.
