Ah ha! I didn't put the time on there. It will start at 2 PM.

We have 2 47"(atleast) LCD TV's we will be using.

What kind of frame delay can be expected from the lcds? several setups I have messed with have been, with ps3+hdtv lag upwards of 20 frames :(

Well, I don't have any number read outs for that kind of information.

I know I've played it a lot on these TVs and it felt fine to me. We have also had some unofficial tournaments after hours and no complaints.

I am sure someone will have "lag" issues. But, that is part of it. It's fair to everyone since everyone is playing on the same TV's.

Talking from my point of View... I Play on the 360... Where there are no lag problems for street fighter.... I train and train... and train... and When I get there... MY OIL SLIDE DOESN'T COME IN WHEN IT SHOULD!... Sorry... but I'm not going to waste 10 bucks on a tournament I'll probably lose due to lag... Hakan's already pretty low tier... I don't need more neg in my face...

Gotcha but that's not how it works.

Like I said. We have played a lot of SF4 on these TV's and not a single person has ever had issues.

I would hope so... I just hope that I can make it... Being broke sucks... It's not that I was trying to convert the system or nothing. I already know that once it's posted it shouldn't be tampered with. unless something huge happens...

I was simply trying to let you see my veiwpoint.. and I'm glad you got it...

Yea guys - first off, this isn't GxC's first tournament, nor is it the first time these TV's have been through tournaments, and events.

They are quality Samsung TV's, identical models, hooked up with HDMI cables, not component, etc.  They've not had a problem with them before, you won't this time either.

Also - may I point out as any tournament attending fighting gamer knows?  TV's can vary; especially as we transition from SD to HD.  The best players show up to win.  They adapt, and deal with the situation at hand.  Sure you may have been to a bad event, but GxC takes time to make sure they have their bases covered, don't worry about that.

...what you should be worrying about is the solid competition that moved into town when you weren't paying attention or showing up to Gamer Gatherings, who may come out and win while you were worried about hardware, instead of practicing ;)
