Are you saying my posts are spam? I believe I have made valid points in all of my posts thus far...
Well, first was your post in 2012 where you seemed to not have read that it was for the movie - 2012. Getting it confused with the year is evidently what you had done, but still, it seemed like you just hadn't taken the time to even really read the title of the thread, so that was disconcerning.
Then there was this post - where either I was unclear in some way in saying "Gaming? Yes, there will be! However, we don't know the titles, etc ", and yet you requested Halo, which left me to think that you perhaps didn't read it.
In the Terms - it mentions 'fact checking' - which would cover reading the whole thread before posting. Not a huge deal what you posted here - until you start to factor in everyone coming into the tournament forums and flooding every organization / business / venue having an event with Halo requests. Once again, not what you've done, but we've had it happen in the past, and as a newer member to our forums I just wanted to point out that it's important to read the content before posting, else you'll either not get an answer, or take a topic off track.
And - so that anyone that reads this knows, and so that you know because I don't feel it's as clear in the Terms as it will be in a bit when we revise it - we are VERY protective of business and venue posts. They have so little time, and they cannot spend it countering harassing gamers, people flaming them, or 'ranking' their business by comparison or "you guys suck" lol.
This site depends on businesses posting their content - if they don't, the site won't exist.
So, we are very "zero tolerance" in protecting their posts.
This? Isn't a business - it's posted by me for Izumicon and to promote OKgamers presence out there. But once again, as we are so very watchful of what goes into the Events forum, and how things are handled - I wanted to mention it NOW on a thread that I posted, verses another thread where business owner might misread, and take serious offense, etc. It's happened before, and we are, once again, VERY protective of businesses to secure their faith in posting here is not a waste, or a hassle for them.
Riiot - With the clarity issues, and then the fact that trying to get events to add your favorite game could be taken as harassing them? I posted
Not saying your posts are spam or unwelcome, but I did want to make sure you and anyone reading knows - we want to avoid any businesses having issues, and of course, that we encourage posters to read before asking questions, as a forum without that rule turns into saying the same things over and over again, and end up burying content, and not helping anyone.
