Me neither, I just left the website until someone on LOL told me it was in Social. Social is more directed at Social Media not forums, not having a forum link will drive away people. People are lazy, gamers in general are even more lazy, if its not easy to get there they wont try to find it.

Tabletop & CCG Gamers / Ragnarok Gaming Group @ Little Shoppe in OKC
« on: January 31, 2013, 10:16:17 pm »
If you are in OKC and want to get into some board and card game our group plays a good selection of games. We are also all willing to try something new if you and your friends have something in mind. If you live near Little Shoppe feel free to join the group as well.

A group of us have been playing Star Trek Fleet Captain and Sentinels of the Multiverse at the Little Shoppe in OKC. We play other games from time to time as well.

Few of us want to get a Risk:Legacy crew setup so if you are interested in that also post here. We will set a date sooner or later, a few go up Tuesday evenings so if you just wanna check it out that would be the best time to show up at Little Shoppe just to check it out.

Another game we play a lot is Quarriors a dice building/card game which is a lot of fun. Some guys play Ascension & Blood Bowl as well. We plan to test out the Little Shoppe owner of the new Star Wars card game as well if your into that. If you have your own games I am sure people will want to try them out.

If you make it a only OKGamers voip your gonna find a lot of people constantly leaving it. I play with a few OKers but a lot of the time I am not and I am meeting a lot of people(who arent okgamers) for the first time in games and through talking with them we get on voip to continue playing. I would suggest you make a few channels "open" to guests and the majority "locked" which you have to be a OKGamer to get into. If guests aren't allowed period you are going to be shooting yourself in the foot.

I play on VoT where the big boys come to play! We will see, I doubt I have time to play on 2 servers. Its pretty evident in GvG though that you need tons of people or lots of allies. Nature of the beast of GvG open world I guess though.

So I found it really fun, bought the preorder. I play with Warrior Poets on VoT the PvP server. Starfted off with a Zerker but man Zerker and Archer are rubish in PvP right now. Currently playing a Slayer and loving it. Other class I plan to get next to cap is Sorc its beastly in 1v1. I am really liking the GvG aspect of the game.

I've been following it but I am hesitant to buy it without either beta testing or playing a trial. Same feeling I have about The Secret World. Sadly most games are going to the pre-order and get into beta model which sucks but with Guild Wars 2 coming out on the horizon they'd have to make a spectacular PvP MMO for me to not spend a majority of my time on the non sub based GW2.

I would do another poll. We have several vent/ts out there for LOL alone. Its very very hard to get everyone onto one. People have their own where they have their private rooms and server admin, ect. I love the idea of having one but from past experience it seems that people who are in the community don't want to give up that "control" factor. If the people actively using this forum, which for the most part are LOLers, aren't going to be on it while online gaming then its a waste of money for you(or OKGamers whoever is paying for it).

If there aren't a lot of OKGamers on it then I won't be logging into the server on a frequent basis. The poll should simply state, "Yes, I will use OKGamers voice server on a consistent basis" and "No I will not use OKGamers voice server on a consistent basis"

I think the results will speak for themselves and you'll end up saving some money. Even though I wish I was wrong as I'd love one central voice server but its just highly unlikely from my past experiences.

Use this, its one of the best websites around to get funding for a project. Lets your donators keep track of your progress and all sorts of other nice things.

Sure sure its there after you edited it in... TS3 is far superior to Ventrilo in every way these days. Wish you woulda asked opinions before just jumping off if you planned to make it standard for OKGamers. Heck Mumble is better than Vent these days.

Why'd you go and do that when there are like 5 offered servers??? You didn't tell us what client either.

Well we just need to get one official OK server.

I think a voice server would be a better way of coordinating and getting to know people. I am willing to sponsor one, its my friends but I am admin on it and only 5-6 people use it to play minecraft.

Just use the Other Games section. My name on there is either Shinobi22 or Paradigm22, I usually have both as a nickname.

Welcome to the forums. GW2 does looking amazing! Its my #1 most wanted game right now. The dodge mechanics for tanking and what not are really going to bring a new flavor to MMOs not only in PvP but also PvE. I am super excited.
