: Soul Calibur V - "MJ's not here, maybe I can win a game!"
: Michael Jackson January 24, 2012, 05:50:40 PM
BLATANTLY ARROGANT POST TITLE ASIDE:

How's it all looking on the Tulsa front?  I get reports that many people are showing up and that the SCV train is leaving the station with a good head of steam!

Saif, you going to be playing Leixia?  Will you minor in a bit of Xiba?  I've heard from several people about what their plans are, but I haven't heard from you at all. TALK TO ME YOU BIG, BEAUTIFUL BASTARD.

We've got easily 4 tournaments in the next 6 months, if not way more; SC5 at Tokyo in Tulsa already has $300+ promised into it's pot, more if Namco Bandai will show some love with some swag, etc :).

Weekly gatherings in Tulsa for sure, already happening; OKC we might know of more after 2/4.  Others?  We'll see what pops up.

Tulsa - is doing great; what will matter is if new gamers come out and join the players in the frey and make Tulsa even better.

--

I make no promises; X is gone.  If Leixia doesn't suck, I'll play her, probably at least as a second.

Xiba evidently pisses BrianHates off - makes me curious :)  However, once again, no clear cut stuff until we play the game, right?  Remember "Sc3 and Tira" - LOL.

I'm thinking that without a Korean to invest my time into (yet) I'm going to have to put my "minor" into someone new.

Astaroth and Hilde are given for me.  I won't let them go away.

Nightmare looks to be a bit better, but we'll see what happens in time...  I hear he's just like he was in SCIV (albeit with more damage potential) in that you can just wait for Nightmare to do something and counteract whatever he's doing with ease.

WHO KNOWS!?!?!?!?

It's so close I can almost EFFIN' taste it.

EDIT

I forgot to talk smack to Jesus and Tim.

@Jesus "NO U"

@Tim "NO U"

I've tangled with a few really good Tira's online and she can deal some good ♥♥♥♥♥ damage now.

I was wondering why, on the French initial tier list, she was so high (upper mid) but now I WONDER NO LONGER!!!

In her soul arena there's a 10 minute long combo vid with alot of variations on what seems like the same combo, but really it's all reliant on her going from Jolly -> Gloomy or vice versa.

AHHHHHH CHARACTERS AND NEW FOUND POWER!
