Edmond Board Game Night

December 19, 2018 By Saif Leave a Comment

Join us for a fun night of board games this Thursday! If you’re brand new to board games, this is a great way to learn some popular, easy to learn games. If you’re experienced, we’ve got plenty of stuff for you too. Plus, we give away a game each week.

Some popular games we play include (but are not limited to): Ticket to Ride, Catan, Sagrada, Pandemic, King of Tokyo, Love Letter, Splendor, Blokus & much much more.

Of course, that’s just a small taste—we have many, many more games, including light & easy games and longer strategic games. If you have games you’d like to play, feel free to bring them.

Please park in the back or on the side at Denny’s, so the parking lot does not appear to be full for other customers. Thanks!

Note that our events are also advertised on Facebook, so there will be more attendees than shown here. This event usually has between 20 and 40 people.

If you have any questions, feel free to post them below! We look forward to seeing you there!

Board Games & Abstract Games at the Microsoft Store (with free refreshments)

December 9, 2018 By Saif Leave a Comment

Join us for board games at the Microsoft Store in Penn Square Mall. The Microsoft Store has a special, semi-private area with tables and chairs in the back half of the store that will be reserved for us.

In addition, with Microsoft’s help, we will provide free refreshments (soda, water, cookies, etc). There is a restroom for our use in the store, and you can bring external food in as well.

We’ll be playing all kinds of great games. From fun social games like Codenames and Avalon to strategy games like Ticket to Ride, Settlers of Catan and Terra Mystica, there’s something for everyone. At this event, we’ll also be making available a bunch of abstract games for you to play or learn. Abstract games are pure strategy games—chess is the most famous. Recently Go has become famous with a computer beating a top-level human player for the first time. But there are other, modern abstract games too, like Hive and The Duke. Come out and try one!

You can feel free to drop in any time.

If you have any questions, feel free to post them below.
